CHEESY CREAMY POTATOES 
3 to 5 lb. red potatoes
1 (16 oz.) carton French onion dip
1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Peel and boil potatoes. When tender, drain off water. Add onion dip and butter to potatoes in large mixing bowl. With electric mixer, beat well. Add half the cheese to potato mixture. Pour into a shallow baking dish and top with rest of shredded cheese.

Bake at 350°F until cheese melts (about 15 minutes). This makes a lot and is great for a large gathering.
