VIRGINIA DIP 
1 c. pecans, chopped
2 tsp. butter
16 oz. cream cheese, softened
4 tbsp. milk
5 oz. dried beef, minced
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 c. sour cream
4 tsp. onion, minced

Saute pecans in butter. Reserve.

Mix all other ingredients thoroughly. Place in 1 1/2 quart baking dish; top with pecans. Chill until serving time. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve hot with crackers or small bread sticks.

NOTE: This can be placed in a fondue pot to be kept hot during a party. Also great leftover and served on crackers, warmed or cold.
