HONEY GLAZED SPARERIBS 
2 lbs. lean spareribs
1 med. onion, quartered

Place ribs in a large saucepan, cover with water; add onion and simmer for 1 hour. Start fire and let coals burn until covered with gray ashes. Brush spareribs with following glaze as they broil; repeat as often as you wish.

GLAZE:

1 tsp. cornstarch
1 (6 oz.) can frozen pineapple-orange juice, thawed
1/3 c. barbecue sauce
1/2 c. honey
1 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. instant onion flakes
