PINTO BEAN PIE (MOCK PECAN) 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. cooked, mashed pinto beans
1 whole egg, beaten
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Combine sugar and spices in a medium mixing bowl; mix well. Add beans, egg, egg yolks and vanilla; mix well until smooth. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake 45 minutes or until set.

I made this approx 27 years ago for my father inlaw I found the recipe in readers D. He loved it it taste very good... I dont remember if I got gas LOl! But if I did it was worth it, cuz it was good!:)
