BAKED SHRIMP OREGANO 
1 lb. raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. packaged dry bread crumbs
2 (or more) cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
2 tbsp. chopped parsley (or 1 tbsp. dried)
2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
Dash of cayenne pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash shrimp under running water. Drain on paper towels. Arrange shrimp in 9 inch pie plate. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons lemon juice. In medium bowl, combine butter, bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, Parmesan, oregano, and cayenne. Mix well. Spoon over shrimp. Bake, uncovered, 15 minutes. Then broil 5 inches from heat until crumbs are browned, about 3 minutes. Serve immediately; garnish with parsley sprigs and lemon wedges. Makes 6 appetizers or 3 main dish servings.
