LIME SWEET PICKLES 
7 lbs. cucumber, sliced thin

Cover with 2 gallons water and 2 cups lime. Let stand 24 hours, stirring now and then - NOT HARD. Rinse well, then cover with clean water for 3 hours. Drain and cover with: 10 c. sugar 1 tbsp. salt (canning salt) 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. whole cloves 1 tsp. pickling spice

Let stand 2 hours or overnight. Simmer 35 minutes and can. Heat jars in oven at 225 degrees. Ready to can and seal. Have lids in hot water.
