CHEESY POTATOES | |
1/2 stick butter 2 lbs. tater tots or hash browns 1 pt. sour cream 1 can cream of chicken soup 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. onion (or less) 1 1/2 c. corn flake crumbs Thaw potatoes 1 day before; leave whole or break apart as desired. Mix all ingredients, except butter and corn flakes. Place in 9 x 13 inch pan. Melt butter; crush corn flakes. Mix butter and corn flakes and place on top of potato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours. May need to add a little milk, if mixture looks too dry. |
