EASY SWISS STEAK 
3 tsp. vegetable oil
2 lb. round steak
1/4 c. flour
1 env. dry onion soup mix
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water

Note: Meat should be at room temperature before starting.

Pour oil in 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Place in oven at 400 degrees. While this heats, pound 2 tablespoons flour into each side of steak.

Place in heated oil, turn to coat both sides, sprinkle on soup mix. Pour tomato sauce mixed with water over all. Cover tightly. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 1/2 hours.
