HOMEMADE BREAD | |
3 c. flour 1 env. yeast 1 1/4 c. hot water 2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. butter Heat water to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in water. Add salt, butter and sugar. Add half of the flour. Beat with mixer. Add the rest of flour and mix with spoon (do not knead). Cover and let rise in bowl. Mix with spoon. Put in pan and let rise again. Bake at 375 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Put butter on top. |
