HOMEMADE CRISCO QUICK BREAD MIX | |
10 c. flour 1/3 c. baking powder 1/4 c. sugar 1 tbsp. salt 2 c. Crisco shortening Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in Crisco with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. Store in covered container up to 6 weeks at room temperature. For longer storage, place in freezer. To measure, spoon mixture into measuring cup level with spatula. Recipe for use on following page. |
