CARAMELS WALNUT 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. heavy cream
1 1/2 c. Karo (light)
Pinch of salt

Boil until thick like cream. REMOVE FROM FIRE.

Add 1 cup Half & Half. Boil again until thick. Remove from fire.

Add 1 can (large) condensed milk. Boil to hard test. Remove.

Add teaspoon vanilla and 1 1/2 cups walnuts (coarsely chopped).

Pour into a well-buttered pan. When firm cut into 1 inch squares. Yields about 1 1/2 pounds. Really delicious.
