CRAISIN OATMEAL COOKIES 
I have made these for office snack days, potlucks and get-together's. Everyone always loves them!

1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup Craisins (dried cranberries)
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, then add vanilla and mix well. Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture. Mix well, Add oatmeal, Craisins and chopped nuts. Mix well.

Drop by tablespoons full onto lightly greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 9 to 11 minutes. Cool for one minute and remove to cooling rack.

Store in an airtight container.
