BEST NUT LOAF | |
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour 1 c. sugar 4 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 beaten egg 1 1/2 c. milk 2 tbsp. salad oil 3/4 c. chopped walnuts Sift together dry ingredients. Combine egg, milk, and salad oil; add to dry ingredients, beating well. Stir in nuts. Turn into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, about 1 to 1 1/4 hour, or until done. Remove from pan; cool on rack. |
