3 c. sugar
2 c. butter
6 eggs
4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Combine butter and sugar and cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in flavoring. Pour into well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until done.
