MILLION DOLLAR POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
3 sticks real butter
1 stick butter
6 lg. eggs
4 c. White Lily plain flour
1 c. whipping cream
1/8 tsp. almond flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift sugar four times. Sift flour four times. Combine butter and butter. Gradually add sugar, cream for 10 minutes. Add one egg at a time and beat 1 minute after each one. Add flour and cream alternately, beating after each addition. Add flavorings. Pour batter into well greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Place in cold oven with temperature set at 300 degrees for 2 hours. Do not open oven until done.
