CHILI CON CARNE 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb. smoked sausage, sliced thin and quartered
1 clove garlic, minced
1 sm. onion, diced
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. crushed red pepper
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. (12 oz.) can crushed tomatoes with added, puree
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (15 1/4 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
1 (15 1/4 oz.) can pinto beans, drained

Combine first four ingredients in large skillet and brown. Drain off excess fat. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes.

Serves 6 to 8.
