BOURBON CAKE 
1 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
8 egg yolks, and egg whites
3 c. plain flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 to 3/4 c. of bourbon
1 (greased and floured angel food pan)
1 c. pecan nuts

Beat egg whites, and add 1 cup of sugar. Cream butter, then add sugar, egg yolks, flour, bourbon, and flavoring.

Pour into the angel food pan, greased and floured. Use one cup of pecan nuts on the bottom of the pan. Pour in the batter and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
