YORKSHIRE PUDDING | |
7/8 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 c. water Put flour and salt in bowl making a hollow in the center. Pour milk into the hollow and mix everything together to make a paste. Beat eggs into batter and add water and beat until large bubbles appear. Let this mixture stand for 1 hour while the meal is cooking. Drain the juice from whatever meat you are planning to serve and put into either an 8 x 8 or 10 x 6 inch baking pan. Beat the pudding batter again and pour into the hot drippings from the meat. Bake in 400 degree oven for 30 minutes. Serves 12. |
