Excellent recipe! I added Hershey's chocolate baking melts to it. Fantastic! Also, added 1/2 cup of flour at a time, and melted butter first. Thanks for sharing!

It's a lot more like cake over brownie. It tastes good though!

This is a great recipe. I did it a little different though. I used 7/8 cup vegetable oil instead of butter. I added 1/4 tsp. baking soda. I only used 2 eggs. I also used 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup regular sugar. Added some chocolate chips and baked for 28 minutes. They were so good! Making 2 more batches now for our community house dinner my church helps at!!

I used a tad more vanilla, and subbed half the butter for nonfat 'banilla' yogurt! Mmm. BEST BROWNIES IVE EVER HAD!!! Wasn't hard to stir at all once I added the 1/2 c. butter, and 1/2 c. yogurt. Took longer than 25 minutes, but well worth the wait ;)

Yes. The cooking time I think is a typo. I've never baked brownies that didn't take 40-60 minutes to cook. I did these brownies 100% organic. Came out really good. Not the best I've ever tried but pretty close.

I added a few chocolate chips and chopped pecans. These were very moist, chewy and delicious!

I only had 1/4 cup cocoa so I halved the recipe, cut the egg to 1 egg and added about 1/4 cup Hershey's syrup. 8x8 pan for 25 minutes and they were so fudgey and good.

Awesome recipe for a quick batch of brownies. Only thing I changed was I only used 1/2 cup of butter and substituted the other half cup with whole milk. I also added chocolate chips (milk chocolate not simi sweet for a sweeter taste.) if you use a stand mixer the mixing is easy and only add 1/2 cup of flour at a time when mixing also helps. Will be reusing the modified version of this recipe again!

These turned out awesome. I was looking to make a cake today, but didn't have any baking powder. Look this up, and it was a great alternative. Cooking time is about 35 mins like the others mentioned before me. But it was worth it!

OK my brownies are done. It didn't take as long as some of yours did. I almost burned them, but they are fantastic. My husband and kids love them. Next time I will add extra such as nuts or chips.
