ROYAL DESSERT 
6 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 3/4 c. sugar
2 pkgs. (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pt. whipped whipping cream
2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 (10 oz.) pkg. strawberries, frozen, thawed
1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
1 tsp. lemon juice

Beat egg whites, cream of tartar, salt, sugar (1 3/4 cups only) until stiff. Spread in a greased 9x12 inch pan - may have enough meringue left for a pie plate. Bake 275 degrees 1 hour. Leave in oven, turn off oven until meringue is cool.

Meanwhile, combine cream cheese, remaining cup of sugar and vanilla. Fold whipped cream into cheese mixture. Add marshmallows. Refrigerate after spreading over cooled meringue.

Combine strawberries, pie filling and lemon juice. Spread over top of cream cheese filling. Refrigerate until ready to serve - cut in squares.
