WAVERLY CRACKER DESSERT 
6 egg whites
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. sugar
2 c. Waverly Wafers, crushed
3/4 c. ground English walnuts
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling

Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy. Add sugar; beat until stiff. Add Waverly Wafers and English walnuts; stir well. Pour into a 9x13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool. Spread Cool Whip over top and cover with pie filling. Yield: 20-24 servings.
