ONE CRUST PEACH PIE | |
1/2 c. water 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 c. sugar 1 c. fresh peaches (peeled AND mashed) 2 tbsp. butter 3 c. fresh peaches (peeled AND sliced) 9-inch pie shell, baked 1/2 pt. whipping cream Combine water, cornstarch, sugar, and mashed peaches in saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, until boiling. Boil 1 minute, stirring. Add butter. Cool. Put sliced peaches into pie shell. Pour filling over peaches, carefully covering peaches up to crust sides. Chill. Serve with whipped or ice cream. |
