COLD GARLIC BREAD | |
In 1972 our city hosted the Worlds Fair and had a French restaurant. They served this bread as an appetizer and we loved it! This is as close as we could get to their recipe. I love that it is served cold and it goes great with a salad for those hot days. 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. onion powder 1 tsp. dried parsley Mix all together. Taste and add more garlic powder if you desire. Spread on French bread, cut in half. Slice into nice serving stick pieces. Enjoy! Submitted by: Cathy Dorman |
