TERIYAKI BEEF 
1 1/2 lbs. beef round or chuck, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 tbsp. grated fresh or 1 tsp. ground ginger
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. sesame oil
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, mashed

Place meat in a deep non-metal bowl. Mix remaining ingredients in a 1 cup measure. Pour over meat and stir. Allow to marinate in refrigerator for 24 to 48 hours. Place meat on skewers. Grill about 4 inches from coals and baste with marinade for about 12 to 15 minutes.
