CALICO CRUMB CAKE 
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. dark brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

TOPPING:

1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
3/4 c. sifted flour

Pour 4 teaspoons vinegar in measuring cup fill to 1 cup with milk. Do not stir. Let stand 2 minutes.

TOPPING: Combine butter, allspice and sugar. Add flour, mix until crumbly. Set aside.

CAKE: Combine chocolate chips and butter in pan over water. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt. Pour melted chocolate mixture into mixing bowl. Add brown sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add flour mixture alternately with sour milk. Pour in greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan or 2 smaller pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Serves 15.
