3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. creamy peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. all-purpose flour

Cream butter, peanut butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg. Stir in flour to make a stiff cookie dough. Shape into balls about the size of a large marble. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Press with cookie stamp or press with fork in a criss-cross design. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until slightly browned and set. Makes approximately 5 dozen cookies.
