HUMMUS 
2 c. cooked or canned chick peas, drained
2/3 c. tahini (sesame paste)
2/3 c. lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, I use 5
1 tsp. salt (not necessary, can be omitted)
Parsley leaves

Place chick peas, tahini, lemon juice and garlic in blender. Blend until smooth. Place in bowl and garnish with parsley. Serve with wedges of pita bread. 8-10 servings.
