BUTTERMILK CONGEALED SALAD 
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (6 oz.) box Jello (any flavor)
2 c. buttermilk
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip

Bring pineapple and sugar to boil. Take off burner and stir in box of Jello. Set aside to cool. After mixture is cool, add buttermilk and pecans. Fold in Cool Whip. To make buttermilk: add 2 tablespoons vinegar to 1 cup milk. Very cool and fluffy!
