MEAL ON CABBAGE WEDGES 
1 sm. cabbage
1 c. onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. uncooked rice
2 c. canned tomatoes
1 c. hot water
2 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. pepper

Remove tough outer leaves from cabbage. Cut into 6 to 8 wedges and place in a buttered casserole. Arrange onion, ground beef and rice between the wedges. Combine tomatoes, water and seasonings and pour over wedges in casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
