MARSHMALLOW (NO COOK) FROSTING | |
1/4 tsp. salt 2 egg whites 1/4 c. white sugar 3/4 c. white Karo syrup 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla or other flavoring Food coloring (opt.) Add salt to egg whites and beat to soft peak. Gradually add sugar and beat until smooth and glossy. Slowly add Karo syrup. Beat after each addition until firmly packed. Fold in flavoring. Makes enough 2 (9") layers or angel food cake. Do not cover cake tightly when frosted. |
