PRUNE NUT BREAD 
1 c. uncooked prunes, pitted & chopped
2 tsp. shredded orange peel (opt.)
1 c. orange juice
2 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1/2 c. nuts, chopped (opt.)

Combine prunes, orange peel and orange juice. Let stand 1/2 hour. Sift dry ingredients. Combine eggs, oil and prune mixture. Add to dry ingredients, mixing well. Add nuts. Bake in greased loaf pan at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.

GLAZE:

1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. sugar

Heat. Prick bread with fork and pour hot glaze over it.
