“PRUNE BREAD” IS IN:

PRUNE BREAD 
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
2 1/3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup cooked pitted chopped prunes

In a mixing bowl cream butter; gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Sift together flour, allspice, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cloves.

Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Mix just until blended. Combine lemon juice with prunes; add to batter. Turn into buttered 9x5x3" loaf pan.

In a preheated 350°F oven bake 50-60 minutes. Turn out of pan onto wire rack to cool.

It was delicious and easy to prepare, I altered couple things 1) with the prunes I had some stewed so I just blended them in my chopper so there were some pieces and some puréed and measured a cup. 2) I substituted vanilla yogurt since didn't have sour cream, it came out so good and I made 4 mini loaves using my pampered chef stone bread tray that allows for 4 mini loaves.
