POPPY SEED CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. oil
1 1/2 c.milk
1 1/2 tsp. poppy seeds
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 tsp. butter flavor
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine all ingredients and mix well together. Pour into 2 loaf pans greased and floured and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.

GLAZE:

1/4 c. orange juice
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. each almond, vanilla and butter flavor

Combine well; spread on warm cake. Remove from pan in 10 minutes. Continue to cool on rack. Can be served without glaze. Baked in 5 or 6 mini pans 35-40 minutes. Any spice aisle should carry butter flavor (McCormicks).
