SUGAR CREAM PIE 
1 pt. cream
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/4 c. flour
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter
Cinnamon or nutmeg as preferred

Combine flour and cornstarch. Add sugar and salt. Stir in cream. Use top of double boiler. Cook over boiling water until slightly thickened. Add vanilla. Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell. Dot top with butter.

Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg. Bake 10 minutes in preheated oven at 375 degrees. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake an additional 20-30 minutes. Serve at room temperature.
