SPINACH SQUARES 
3/4 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 pkg. chopped frozen spinach, cooked & drained
1/2 stick melted butter
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt (scant)
Mushrooms to taste

Mix flour, salt and baking powder. Add eggs, milk, onion and butter. Mix in spinach and mushrooms. Add cheese. Mix well. Bake in 8 x 8 inch or 9 x 9 inch ungreased pan at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Check to be sure top is golden brown. Cut into squares, serve warm.
