HOT MILK SPONGE CAKE 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. hot milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Beat together eggs, sugar, hot milk, vanilla, flour and salt. Turn batter into a greased and lightly floured tube or Bundt pan.

Bake until a toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean (about 1 hour).
