HOT MILK SPONGE CAKE 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
Pinch of salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
Flavoring

Beat eggs and sugar with rotary beater. Sift flour, baking powder and salt 3 times and add to eggs. Bring milk to a boil and melt butter in it. Add this to the above mixture and beat until smooth. Bake about 1/2 hour in moderate oven.
