CHICKEN CASSEROLE | |
2 whole chicken breasts 1 (6 oz.) box Stove Top chicken flavored dressing 1/2 c. diced onion 1/2 c. diced celery 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper 1/2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise 1 c. sliced water chestnuts, drained 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. milk 1 can mushroom soup Remove chicken chicken from broth and cool. Mix 6 ounce box of Stove Top dressing and seasoning packet with 1 cup water or cold broth and 1/2 stick butter, melted. Spread 1/2 of this in 9"x12" pan. Spread chicken over this (cut in chunks). Spread mixture of onion, celery, lemon pepper and mayonnaise over chicken. Put 1 can water chestnuts over this then spread other 1/2 of dressing over this. Beat eggs and milk together and pour over all. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Next day spoon undiluted mushroom soup over all. Bake 45 minutes at 325 degrees. Spread with grated cheese and bake 10 minutes longer. |
