GRANNY'S PEACH COBBLER 
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
1 lg. can sliced peaches in heavy syrup
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. milk

Pour peaches and juice in large baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Mix sugar, flour, vanilla and melted butter. Gradually mix in milk and beat the batter until smooth.

Pour evenly over peaches. Be careful not to stir the batter into the syrup. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until golden brown. Great, topped with vanilla ice cream.
