PEANUT BUTTER CAKE 
2 c. cake flour
1 1/3 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Scant 1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. peanut butter
2/3 c. milk

Beat 2 minutes at No. 2 speed. Add remaining 1/3 cup milk and 2 eggs. Beat 2 minutes more at No. 3 speed. Bake in 2 layers at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes. Test with toothpick. Use regular powdered sugar frosting with peanut butter added.
