BEER SIMMERED PORK CHOPS 
4 pork chops
2 tsp. onion soup mix
1 1/2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. long grain wild rice
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. beer

Brown chops in butter on both sides. Lower heat to add mixture of mushroom soup, beer and dry onion soup mix. Simmer covered over lower heat for approximately 50 minutes. Cook rice as directed on package. Serve pork chops and sauce over rice. Doubles nicely.
