CORN BREAD TACO BAKE 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1/2 c. water
1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 can tomato sauce
1 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix (plus ingredients to prepare mix)
1 can French fried onions
1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In large skillet, brown ground beef; drain. Stir in taco seasoning, water, corn, green pepper and tomato sauce. Pour into 2-quart casserole.

In small bowl, prepare corn muffin mix according to package directions; stir in 1/2 can French fried onions. Spoon muffin batter around edge of beef mixture. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until corn bread is done. Top corn bread with cheese and remaining onions; bake 1-3 minutes longer. 6 servings.
