APPLE STREUSEL MINCE PIE 
1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
3 apples, pared and thinly sliced
1/2 c. plus 3 tbsp. unsifted flour
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 pt. jar mince meat
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/3 c. cold butter
1/4 c. chopped nuts

In large bowl toss apples with 3 tablespoons flour and melted butter. Arrange in pastry shell. Top with mince meat. In medium bowl combine remaining 1/2 cup flour, sugar, and cinnamon; cut in cold butter until crumbly. Add nuts.

Sprinkle over mince meat. Bake in lower half of oven for 10 minutes at 425 degrees. Reduce oven temperature to 375 degrees and bake 25 minutes longer or until golden brown.
