MARINATED EGGS 
For 6 pickled eggs will need:

PINEAPPLE MARINATED EGGS:

6 hard cooked eggs, shelled
3/4 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
3/4 c. distilled white vinegar
1 med. onion
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. whole pickling spice

Pickling time: 3 to 4 hours or overnight.

For either recipe combine all ingredients, except the eggs in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 5 minutes. Pour over eggs in sealable container. Cover and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours or overnight, turning eggs occasionally to pickle evenly. Remove eggs from liquid to serve. Cut egg in half lengthwise.

IDER MARINATED EGGS:

6 hard cooked eggs, shelled
3/4 c. sweet cider or apple juice
1/4 c. distilled white vinegar
3 c. sliced onion
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. whole pickling spice
1/2 clove garlic
