BEEF AND GREEN ONIONS 
1 1/2 or 2 lbs. lean beef (cut into bite size)
1 qt. canned beans or fresh beans
1 med. onion, diced
2 tbsp. cooking oil
2 qts. tomatoes
Salt and pepper

Cook cubed beef in about 2 or 3 cups of water. Cook until water boils out. Add diced onions and oil. Cook until onions are tender. Add beans and 3 or 4 cups of water enough to cook beans, then add tomatoes and cook about 1 1/2 hours, stirring several times. Serve over cooked rice.
