ORIENTAL FLANK STEAK | |
1 (1 1/2 lb.) flank steak 5 green onions, chopped 3/4 c. vegetable oil 1/2 c. soy sauce Sm. amount grated ginger root 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 3 tbsp. honey 2 tbsp. vinegar Place steak in a large shallow dish. Combine remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour over steak; cover and marinate in refrigerator 8 hours, turning occasionally. Drain steak, reserving marinade. Grill over hot coals 5-10 minutes on each side, or until desired degree of doneness, basting with marinade. To serve, slice steak across grain into thin slice. Yield: about 6 servings. |
