BROCCOLI-CAULIFLOWER SOUP 
1 head cauliflower
1 bunch broccoli
1 onion, chopped
1 qt. chicken broth
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 qt. milk
1 c. grated cheese
1 c. sour cream

In kettle combine broccoli, cauliflower, onion and broth. (I cut veggies into smaller pieces to cook faster). Cook to boiling, cover, reduce heat and simmer about 20 minutes or until veggies are done. Use blender and chop until desired consistency is obtained. (I puree mine.) Melt butter in heavy pan or Dutch oven. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually stir in milk, cook until thickened. Add cheese and sour cream and stir until cheese is melted. Stir in veggies mix and heat. Also tastes good with bits of ham.
