7 LAYER SALAD 
1 head lettuce or fresh spinach
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
8 slices fried bacon, crumbled
4 hard cooked eggs, chopped
1 (4 oz.) pkg cheddar cheese

DRESSING:

2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. mayonnaise or Miracle Whip

Wash lettuce and drain. Tear in pieces and cover bottom of 13 x 9 inch dish or pan. Sprinkle peas, green pepper, onion, bacon and eggs in layers. Spread dressing on top, then top with cheese. Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
