VINEGAR COBBLER 
Mix together:

2 c. flour
Pinch salt
3/4 c. shortening
4-8 tbsp. cold water

Boil together:

1 c. vinegar
1 c. water
2 1/2 c. sugar

Bring to boil, then pour in 9x13 pan with 1/2 of crust in bottom. Put other 1/2 crust on top of vinegar. Bake at 350 until golden brown.
