MIXED VEGETABLE CASSEROLE 
1 bag mixed vegetables
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. flour
2 c. liquid, milk included
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of thyme
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. white wine, optional
4 sliced white bread

Cook vegetables 10 minutes, drain liquid and save. Make sauce with all ingredients except bread. Mix sauce with vegetables. Pour into a casserole dish. Cut white bread into squares. Cover vegetables with bread and pour 1 tablespoon hot melted butter over bread. Cook 30 minutes at 350 degrees. This serves 8 people.
